{langley photographer} lifestyle maternity session on a farm

This lifestyle maternity session was last Thursday evening, and everything was filled with sunshine, and this family is wonderful. Also, they live on a farm - the kind of farm with animals and vegetables and stuff, which is basically my city girl photographer dream. So that's cool.

Here's their little sneak peek!

I get to be related to these people! Jason is my cousin & he married the sweetest lady & they have the cutest kids & also live in the most lovely home. So photographing them is everything wonderful.

The sun ventured out for a few days at the beginning of November, and we happened to book our session on just the right afternoon! Golden sunshine & rich colours & beautifulness everywhere. I've been wanting to blog this session since the moment I finished taking the photos, because I love it, and I love them.

All the S's in that title remind me of a book we were given, called Alpahebetics: An Aesthetically Awesome Alliterated Alphabet Anthology (by Patrick & Traci ConcepciĆ³n).

My favourite page from the book is Q, which goes like this: "Quinn the quail queen quietly queued for the quintessential quinoa quiche."

Amazing, right? All of this, of course, has absolutely nothing to do with this session, but I believe it was a very worthwhile sidenote.

Steve spent a few months last summer pastoring at our church, and I had the opportunity to photograph this (ADORABLE) family together one sunny August evening. Linsey is a talented writer, their little son is probably the most active child I have ever met, and his little sister is such a sweetheart. We miss you guys!
